a few weeks nick had spring break so we took a little road trip to socall, as us nocall's call it.
we stayed with nicks aunt in san diego and had a wonderful time. we.....
went the san diego zoo which has been on my list for quite some time.
have you ever seen a real live panda bear? because i have.
we went to the pier and took a fairy boat to coronado.
we especially enjoyed biking around mission bay and beach.
apparently putting sunscreen on my face, ears, neck, arms,legs, and even the part in my hair just isn't even enough....
I'll give you a dollar if you've ever had a more ridiculous sunburn than this. {btw it happened during our bike ride....i am just that white}
We also got to see the san diego temple...
it is a beautiful, fairy tale castle, temple.
as usual, our get away was a success. we are really lucky to have the opportunity to visit such fun places while we are here in california, especially because it gives us some time together.
Oh brooke, that sunburn...I'm speechless. I thought i had some bad sunburns in my history but that looks pretty painful. Super cute picture of you guys in front of the temple though!
